After months of rumours, Huawei will finally unveil its upcoming flagship smartphone – the Huawei Ascend P8 – on April 15. To make things even more exciting, the company’s released a teaser trailer recently that’s highly dramatic, and hints at possible camera enhancements.
Walking around the city, the man in the trailer captures all the light around him, which goes straight the mysterious device he’s holding in his hands – probably the Ascend P8. The video ends with the infinity symbol (horizontal number 8), and a note “See the wonder of light April 15, London”. If the video is anything to go by, the Ascend P8 will most likely arrive with camera improvements which will allow us to take better photos in low-light conditions.
Other rumoured Ascend P8 specs include a 5.2” (1080p) slightly curved screen, a Kirin 930 CPU, 3GB of RAM, a dual-lens camera, a 2,600mAh battery, and a fingerprint sensor.
You’ll be able to livestream Huawei’s event tomorrow on its YouTube channel, and as soon as we have more details about the device, we will let you know.
