Meet Apple’s iPhone SE and 9.7-inch iPad Pro

During its traditional Keynote yesterday, Apple unveiled two new devices: the 4-inch iPhone SE and the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. The first out of the two is basically an improved version of the iPhone 5s (with the power of the iPhone 6s!), while the second one is a “mini” variant of the big iPad Pro. In addition to this, Apple also announced that iOS 9.03 is here, that the Apple Watch is now cheaper than ever, and showed off an iPhone-recycling robot. While it might now have been the most exciting of events, these are definitely something to talk about.

iPhone SE: Smaller, More Affordable, Yet as Powerful as a Flagship

4-inch iPhone SE

More compact and affordable than its predecessor, the iPhone SE packs almost all of iPhone 6s’s features in a 4-inch body. It offers Apple’s A9 processor, 16GB or 64GB of built-in storage, a 1642mAh battery, a 12-megapixel back camera, and a 5-megapixel front-facing one for selfies. It’s important to mention that launching apps on the iPhone SE is incredibly fast, and that it comes with Live Photos and Hey Siri functions, plus a fingerprint sensor.

The 9.7-inch iPad Pro Aims to Replace Your Computer

“The 9.7-inch iPad Pro has a new Retina display with True Tone technology, four-speaker audio system, blazing fast A9X chip, 12-megapixel iSight camera, 5-megapixel FaceTime HD camera, faster wireless, and support for Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard. It is the ultimate upgrade for existing iPad users and replacement for PC users,” said Apple’s marketing chief Phil Schiller at the Keynote.

Smaller iPad Pro

There you have it – the new iPad Pro is more powerful than its predecessors, comes with a Stylus and a keyboard, and boasts four speakers that offer twice the sound power than those found on the iPad Air 2. The 12-megapixel camera can shoot 4K videos, and thanks to the True Tone feature, the display of your iPad adjusts (real time) depending on the temperature of the room you’re in and makes it easier for you to view the screen.

Both devices will become available for pre-order on the 24th of March, and you’ll be able to get them in Gold, Silver, Space Grey, and Rose Gold.
