We’ve heard quite a lot of rumours about the upcoming iPhone 6 so far and seen a number of its components. Each day brings more and more photos of the iPhone 6 and its alleged parts, new concepts and screen size comparisons. Here’s what we’ve taken a glimpse at up until this point.
GforGames spotted the photos of a new, sharper camera module on a Chinese website. The images show Sony Exmor camera sensor, but a much more powerful one. The iPhone 6 is expected to arrive with the Sony Exmor IMX220, which features a 13-megapixel 1/2.3” sensor. It will be able to record 1080p videos and shoot photos with a resolution of 3840 x 1080 pixels.
Touch ID Sensor
The folks at Nowhereelse.fr were the first to spot the photos of the Touch ID sensor and publish them, saying that they were meant for the iPhone 6. It looks more or less the same as the one found in the iPhone 5S, but we’ve heard that it should be more durable and more accurate than its predecessor.
The iPhone 6 should come with a bigger and a better battery, which was all but confirmed by (once again) Nowhereelse.fr – they published the photos of a larger 1,810mAh battery (the iPhone 5S sports a 1,560mAh one). However, having in mind all the rumours about the iPhone 6 with a bigger screen, this might not change the phone’s battery life that much.
We expect to see even more leaked components of the iPhone 6 and as soon as we do, we’ll let you guys know.
