More Than 100 Android Smartphones from Samsung

The company, founded in 1938 under the name “Samsung” (meaning “three stars” in Korean), could definitely be called the leader in all areas that have something to do with electronics. From TV sets, refrigerators, washing machines to mobile phones and tablets. When you think of Samsung, you think of quality. Although Samsung was not the first company to start manufacturing Android smartphones, it did not take it long to realize the strengths of the Android OS.

Samsung's smartphones

Samsung has released more than 100 smartphones to this day!

The first Android-powered smartphone from Samsung was the Samsung Galaxy GT-i7500, which was officially launched in June 2009. At the time, no one knew that this will be the start of a new era. Five years and a number of  improvements and alterations later, Samsung has released more than 100 Android smartphones – not counting the versions and variations of some models! It’s a great story about success that begins with the bestseller Galaxy S i9000, and continues with the latest flagship model, the Galaxy S5. But Samsung is not giving up. New models have already been announced and the never-ending competition with Apple and iOS continues.
