Sony has added another handset to its Xperia line, called the Sony Xperia T3. According to the company, this is the thinnest 5.3in smartphone in the world.
The Sony Xperia T3 measures 150.7 x 77 x 7 mm, weighs 148 grams and comes with a stainless steel frame. It sports a 5.3in HD display, a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor and 1GB of RAM. There’s 8GB of built-in storage, expandable via a microSD card slot (up to 32GB).
On its back is an 8-megapixel camera with Sony’s Exmor RS sensor, and in the front is a 1.1-megapixel camera. The rear-facing camera comes with quite a few interesting features, such as HDR, image stabilization, Sweep Panorama, object tracking etc.
Other specs include a 2,500mAh battery, Android 4.4 KitKat, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, GPRS/EDGE and LTE.
The Xperia T3 will be available in three colours – white, black and purple – and it will go on sale at the end of July. Pricing details are yet to be released.
