We’ve been thinking about the Sony Xperia Z4 ever since the Z3 came out, and we’ve been hoping that we might see it at the MWC 2015, but we’ve definitely been surprised by the Z4 specs that recently appeared online.
According to a new report, the Xperia Z4 will come with a 5.5” QHD display, a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, and an octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor, clocked at 2.8GHz. Additionally, the Z4 will have 4GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, and Sony is also rumoured to be working on a new 22-megapixel Exmor RS sensor. We also expect the Xperia Z4 to at least be dust and waterproof, like its predecessor. Rumour also has it that this new smartphone will be the first to arrive with LTE Cat.6 connectivity and Bluetooth 4.1.
This recent report also states that Sony might indeed launch the new Xperia Z4 in March, 2015, which is just in time for the Mobile World Congress. As soon as we have more info about this device, we will let you know.
