Microsoft unveiled the first Lumia phone with Microsoft’s branding on Monday. Although users worldwide wanted a flagship phone with premium specs, Microsoft gave us a mid-range smartphone instead – the Lumia 535.
The Lumia 535 comes with a 5” IPS display and a QHD resolution (960 x 540 pixels), plus a screen that allows you to read better in direct sunlight. On the inside is a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of built-in storage (expandable). A duo of 5-megapixel cameras is located on both the front and the back of the phone, and a 1,905mAh battery powers this new Microsoft smartphone. The handset measures 140.2 x 72.4 x 8.8mm, weighs 146 grams, and will run Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim.
The Microsoft Lumia 535 will be available in a number of vibrant colours characteristic of Lumia phones and will have an exchangeable back cover. It will cost about 110 euros.
