The Consumer Electronics Show, or CES, is, as you probably already know, a giant technology spectacle that occurs every year in Las Vegas. CES 2016 has already revealed new electronics and tech, so we can freely shed some light on the thrilling novelties that have been announced and showcased.
Samsung’s Various Innovations Revealed at CES 2016
Let’s start with Samsung. From brand new TVs and improved VR controllers to a $5,000 fridge, the Korean company has really been busy preparing for this event. What’s even more relevant to our interests is the Galaxy TabPro S scheduled for a launch in February. The tablet in question is lightweight, operates on Windows 10 and boasts a gorgeous 12-inch Super AMOLED display with 2K resolution. Still, despite its lightness and compactness, the battery can allegedly last up to 10.5 hours in one sitting.
LG: From Super Slender TVs to New Smart Devices
LG has stepped up their OLED TV game, having boosted the colour range and additionally slimming the screen, which resulted in an ultra thin and elegant piece of tech. On top of that, it is expected that during the event the company will reveal its new LG G5 smartphone and give additional info about the Watch Urbane 2, which will be compatible with iOS and Android.
Huawei Goes Elegant and Fashionable in 2016
As for Huawei, we learned more about their new Mate 8 phablet. Long story short—it’s a sleek device from top to bottom. A slightly longer story will tell you that the phone sports a 6-inch 1080p display with 32GB or 64GB of internal storage and 3GB or 4GB of RAM. Apart from the handset, the Chinese-based company also presented the MediaPad M2, a 10-inch tablet with curved edges and 16GB or 64GB of storage and two highly fashionable versions of the Huawei Watch—the Watch Jewel and the Watch Elegant. What makes them such voguish accessories is the fact that their bands seems to be made of faux-crocodile leather and—get this—the Huawei Watch Jewel even has 68 Swarovski Zirconia crystals!
