The HTC One M9 is all but here – the company is scheduled to launch the phone on March 1, at the MWC 2015. If you were impatient and wanted to learn more about the phone before the event, then you are in luck – a German retailer Cyberport.de accidentally listed both the One M9 specs and images.
Gunmetal Grey and Silver One M9
According to the leaked photos, HTC’s upcoming flagship will be available in two colours – gunmetal grey with black accents, and silver with gold accents. With a design similar to that of the One M8, the One M9 will offer a 5” display, and possibly a 1080p resolution (leaked wallpapers suggest this). Other specs include an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of built-in storage (expandable).
The HTC One M9 will run Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC’s Sense 7 UI, and it will sport a 4-megapixel front camera (UltraPixel), and a 20-megapixel rear one, with dual LED flash. The handset will be powered by a 2,900mAh battery.
The listing has been taken down by now, but everyone’s seen the images and specs already. However, the leaked photos don’t align with previous images of the phone and its speaker grills, so this could be a mere publicity stunt. We will find out what’s true and what’s not from HTC in a week.
