You bought a Bluetooth speaker, bracelet or a car kit that you want to use with your iPhone, but you for some reason you can’t figure out how to pair them. Don’t panic, your money’s not wasted, for today we’ll show you how to do this. 🙂
Before you begin, make sure that the BT accessory you bought is compatible with your iPhone. You can check whether or not they are compatible in the product specifications at the site of the device’s manufacturer. If the device is compatible with your iPhone, you should be able to pair them without any issues. In order for your iPhone to detect the Bluetooth device, you must configure and activate the Bluetooth connection. Here’s how:
1. Go to Settings>General>Bluetooth and move the slider to On.
2. Your iPhone will start its search for the Bluetooth devices around him. Make sure that the Bluetooth device is turned on and within the iPhone’s range, and after a couple of minutes it should get listed by your iPhone.
3. A small pop-up window will appear on your screen. Check the pairing code on the BT device, and then select Pair. If a window does not appear, enter your PIN and then click Pair. The pairing code is usually 0000 or 1234 (it can be found in the manual of the Bluetooth device).
4. Once the pairing is done, you’ll be able to use the Bluetooth device with your iPhone. 🙂
