The Motorola Moto G (3rd Gen.) is almost here and it seems like bit by bit we’ve managed to get our hands on almost all the relevant info regarding the much-anticipated not-that-high-budget smartphone (Motorola, better hurry up or there will be nothing left to surprise us with!). So without too lofty an introduction, here’s what the world has revealed—through more or less (well… definitely less) planned leaks—about the phone so far.
Blowing the Lid Off the Moto G Specs
The most recently leaked video claims that the device will be equipped with a 5.0-inch HD display (full or 720p, it remains to be seen… so, all right, there’s still some mystery left), 13-megapixel primary camera, 5-megapixel camera for perfecting the art of selfie-making and dual SIM support. Furthermore, this universally beloved affordable Motorola model will be operating on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with a quad-core 1.4GHz Snapdragon 410 processor working tirelessly under the hood. On top of everything, it’ll include 8GB or 16GB of storage, micro SD slot that holds 32GB cards and 4G LTE.
Another neat detail reveals that the phone will have an IPX7 waterproof certification. Plus, it has been vehemently announced that Moto G’s battery life will be out of this world. Or, to put it more lightly, it’ll be pretty impressive, lasting you a full day with ease. To top it all off, future owners of the newest Moto G will apparently be able to swap out back plates, choosing whichever colour they like. All in all, sounds like a pretty satisfactory packet, no?
Mark Your Calendars: The Announcement Is Nigh
Multiple sources state that Motorola’s supposed to formally unveil everything there is on the phone on the 28th of July. While we sure do have a lot to go on so far, the official announcement is still much awaited.
