Last year at the Mobile World Congress, Sony launched the Xperia M2 smartphone, and now it seems that we might get to see its successor at the MWC 2015. The GFXBench shows a new Xperia phone which is rumoured to be the Sony Xperia M3.
According to the benchmarks, the Xperia M3 will arrive with a 4.6” display, a QHD resolution (960 x 540 pixels), and a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek processor. Other specs include 1GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage, a 5-megapixel rear and a 2-megapixel front camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, possibly 4G LTE, and Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
The Mobile World Congress starts next month in Barcelona, and Sony is expected to unveil its upcoming flagship phone – the Xperia Z4 – at its event. If this does turn out to be the Sony Xperia M3, it will probably appear alongside the Xperia Z4. We expect to hear more details about the handset at the MWC (or perhaps even before that), so stay tuned.
